This memo is in regards to changes in the RX-8 turbo kit. As of now, all of the RX-8 turbo kits will include the emanage Ultimate, along with a few other changes. Here are the list of changes made to the kit.
1. Emanage changed to Emanage Ultimate
2. Changes in the Plug and play harness include:
※ The use of ignition harness
※ Controlling the intake ports to utilize best combination for smooth driving and
better performance
※ Removal of RPM adapter and Water Temp Sensor adapter from harness.
※ Changing target air fuel ratio with special 02 sensor adapter so vehicle does
not run lean in closed loop operation.
3. Addition of intake manifold block plate to stabilize boost at higher RPM and increase boost response.
4. Changed location of Jet Air Fuel mixing hose from airnix to fitting welded to the compression tube connected to the throttle body. This prevent boost pressure from escaping the intake manifold and will allow constant flow towards the intake manifold.
5. This tune is confirmed to be good for 0.45 kg. Anything above that will need to be fine tuned.
6. Included an orifice fitting to smoothen out pressure signals to the GReddy Pressure sensor. This will stabilize the pressure readings so tuning is more consistent.
An update kit will also be available for those that want to convert from the old emanage RX-8 turbo kits to emanage ultimate. This will include four parts: Emanage Ultimate Harness, Emanage Ultimate, Intake Manifold Plate, and Orifice Fitting. For the update, the customer will need to cut the provided 10mm aluminum tube provided in the older RX-8 kit and weld it to the compression pipe. If they cannot perform this, they can send the parts to us and we will weld it for them on our jig.
New Part numbers and prices have not been set as of yet, but will be determined ASAP.

Update: The upgrade kit Ultimate is NOT the same as the standard Ultimate. It contains an ignition specific upgrade for the RX-8. It's unknown at this time what exactly it does, but here's a photo of it:
Update (Sept 17th, 2006): I'm posting the latest unlocked map for the EMU. I saw 11.5 AFR all the way across the rpm range with it, so it seems pretty good out of the box.
