  App package install help

I recently aquired several parts of the appearance package and when I went to install them, I realized that there is more to it than just a couple screws and 2 sided tape. I discovered that there is some sort of a plastic/rubber runner that runs across the bottom of the car. It seems that this runner would have to be completely removed in order to instal the peices, but I am worried that it might not be such a great idea to remove it. Any suggestions or knowledge on this part?

I think you're going to have to go ahead and do it. I have heard of some people using some kind of glue to stick the parts on the car without all the extra work, but I don't think I'd trust that method too much.
I know for the MS sideskirts you also have to drill holes into the side of the car... unfortunately I know nothing about the standard app package - most people don't since most who have it, already had it on their car from the dealer. |
