New OEM upgraded RX-8 coils

I had ordered a set of the standard $50 coils from http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cf...4&catalogid=1

When they called me up and asked if I wanted the new or the older ones. The new ones are supposed to be more resistant to heat, and they're cheaper. Just over $20 each. I was told the new coils is what they're using for the recall, and that the price of the coils are likely going up once the recall is over.

Newer, stronger, and cheaper, sounded like a good combo to me.

I've had these on my car for 2 days and can't tell any chance from the older version. So hopefully they just last longer Smile
